COUNTY RIDE EXTENDED TO EDGEMERE
Baltimore County Dept. of Aging is extending its County Ride service into Edgemere for at least 1 day per week. Service is for elderly over 60 and disabled 18-59. If interested, call county ride office at 410-887-2080 for a registration packet.. (10/09)

SEVERSTAL COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP MEETING
We attended a meeting with Severstal and other area representatives to learn of their environmental objectives. Details of their Consent Decree Action Plan and other corrective measures are complex and long and cannot be discussed here. If significant interest is demonstrated to hearing this presentation, we will attempt to arrange with Severstal. (11/09)
BACK RIVER SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT TOURS
If anyone is interested in taking a 2 hour tour (during the day) of this most interesting facility, contact Harry Wujek at 410-477-3232. If we can get 10 people interested, we will attempt to arrange a tour. At our last NPC meeting, 7 people signed up for the tour so we still have openings for 3 additional people. (11/09)
