                 A Message From The President

Communities are built and maintained by everyone doing their part. Have you done your part regarding the revitalization of Fort Howard? In last month's newsletter we asked for comments on the Fort Howard Development project which could bring 1300 to 1500 housing units to our community. We also wrote a letter to the Dundalk Eagle requesting readers to express their views on this project.

Thus far, a total of six people have responded with comments. This is a tremendous disappointment and is not a positive sign of community concern from residents. The NPC board meeting with the project developer which was scheduled for May 25 has been rescheduled for May 18 at their request. The opportunity still exists for residents to file comments on this issue by contacting NPC at:

                P.O. Box 444, Fort Howard, MD 21052

              thewuj@comcast.net

             410-477-3232 or 410-382-2381

Residents are encouraged to attend the next NPC general meeting on June 2, 2011, when representatives from the developer will discuss the project.  Please, do your part.
